Marc Coleman

Marc Coleman is a self-taught comedy writer/director from Dagenham. He entered the industry as an actor, mainly working in sketch comedy and improvisation. Alongside his acting work, he started to make his own comedy short films with friends and in 2016, won an Empire award for a short film he made for £20. Since then, he retired from acting and focused solely on film and went on to make a number of award winning short films, one of which was distributed by Troma. He is currently on the festival circuit with his debut feature film ‘ManFish’, which was partly shot and is set on Canvey Island, Essex. The film premiered at Horror on Sea in 2022 and has already won multiple awards, including ‘Best Feature’ at both Sci-Fi London and The Romford Horror Film Festival.

Marc will be  joining us for a relaxed Q+A about his work and process.

TJ Keenan

TJ is a screenwriter based in Leigh on Sea, Essex. He has worked with producers from across the globe, and is the writer of two movie biopic screenplays on Tudor writer/spy Kit Marlowe, both of which are currently in development and were recently marketed at Cannes Film Festival. He has worked as a story consultant and script editor on multiple projects, as well as teaching and mentoring aspiring screenwriters around the world. Netflix described his writing as ‘gripping’ and he has had his work read by a plethora of A-List actors and producers.  TJ is running our upcoming workshop ‘Art of Screenwriting‘
