It was the middle of the 2nd lockdown in 2020 and Lily set up a zoom call with around 20 of her film industry friends. Within 3 months this number had trippled and EFC was born. Online calls are where it all began and allowed us to connect and build our community.
If we are honest though by the time September 2021 came round and we were allowed to meet in person we would have been happy to never have another video call again!
Enough time has passed now and we think it is time to sporadically bring back some online events so that we can easily connect the whole community wherever you are in Essex (or the world!).
This is a casual initial meet up. There will be group discussion, time for people to introduce themselves to the wider call as well as the opportunity to connect in smaller breakout rooms.
