To close Colchester Film Festival 2022, Essex Film Collective is running a relaxed networking and drinks event. It’s a great chance to meet like-minded people from the region and chat with some of the festival’s guest speakers.
Colchester Film Festival is a 6-day film event (7-12 Nov) bringing together a selection of exciting feature films and masterclasses from award-winning filmmakers.
This year’s festival features a series of masterclasses from some of the UK’s finest industry professionals, director Mike Leigh (Secrets and Lies, Mr. Turner), screenwriter Deborah Moggach (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Tulip Fever), director and producer Anthony Fabian (Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris), Oscar-winning director Chris Overton and BAFTA winning director Caroline Bartleet.
Masterclass tickets are £6 each, or 4 for £20
Alongside the films are a selection of critically acclaimed new feature films covering a range of genres, so there’s something for everyone. Kicking off with The Thing (4K Restoration) to celebrate its 40th anniversary, followed by Flux Gourmet, Girls Girls Girls, Vesper, and Silent Land.
